Daffodil 03:27
Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Daffodil, Daffodil, tall and strong Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Before too long you'll have come and gone What would you say if you could talk? Where would you go if you could walk? What would you think if you had a thought? What would you sing if you had a song? Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Daffodil, Daffodil, tall and strong Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Before too long you'll have come and gone How many suns have you seen? How many moons were in between? How many loves have you lost While you saw yourself turn to dust? Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Daffodil, Daffodil, tall and strong Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Before too long you'll have come and gone Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Daffodil, Daffodil, tall and strong Daffodil, Daffodil, sittin' on the windowsill Before too long you'll have come and gone

I'd search you out pay no attention to the crowd a sea of bodies they don't mean anything I'm drawn to your sound The sweetest melodies are running through your veins and every word I ever heard you say comes out as song to me We've only time and every intention to get it right here comes the interlude between our solitudes ready to harmonize The sweetest melodies are running through your veins and every word I ever heard you say comes out as song to me (solo) The sweetest melodies are running through your veins and every word I ever heard you say comes out as song to me You are a Song to me

Let It Go 02:40
Sometimes you gotta let it go Though it hurts so deep in your soul Another day come with the dawn It's the only chance of movin' on Sometimes you gotta let it go When the good is gone what can you do? You can't kick and scream it back to you It's not about giving up the fight But coming out on the other side When the good is gone what can you do? Brush the dust off your knees Learn to bend like the trees Embrace the change to ease the pain Sometimes you gotta let it go Cuz it'll hurt more if you don't Clear the fog from your head Stand up tall and take another breath Sometimes you gotta let it go Oooh Oooh Oooh Embrace the change to ease the pain Sometimes you gotta let it go Though it hurts so deep in your soul Another day come with the dawn It's the only chance of movin' on Sometimes you gotta let it go Sometimes you gotta let it go Sometimes you gotta let it go

I was born to tip toe In and out of trouble Wouldn't do what I was told Oh, I enjoyed the heat below When I was a child No one would notice I took what wasn't mine But I'd escape before tellin' a lie Out the back door, out the back door And I'd go Out the back door, out the back door So if you want to start To get a little dirty Like sneakin' past the guards I'll admit you'll get a charge I'll tell you what to do Once the plan's in motion But you gotta follow through It's the one rule before makin' a move Out the back door, out the back door And you'd go Out the back door, out the back door Hat tipped down, collar up, soft soled shoes, in the shadows Keep it down, don't make a move, ok go, now run for it Hat tipped down, collar up, soft soled shoes, in the shadows Keep it down, don't make a move, ok go, and keep it secret Here's another way To go under the radar While the bossman is away Here's your chance, to make a play At the factory Don't get too greedy Just pocket what you need And go out with the other employees Out the back door, out the back door And we’ll go Out the back door, out the back door And we’ll go Out the back door, out the back door Out the back door, out the back door Out the back door, out the back door

What do you do with a Guarded Heart? one that's so unsure how do you tell it to love again and trust that it's secure Oh, what do you do with a Guarded Heart? How do you break down the walls within? towering so high a pinhole of light is hope enough so baby, please try Oh, How do you break down the walls within? I'm trying to love you but I'm not getting through Where do you turn when the compass breaks? lost out at sea the wandering waves will carry you until you find your peace Oh, where do you turn when the compass breaks? What do you do with a Guarded Heart? What do you do with a Guarded Heart? What do you do with a Guarded Heart? What do you do with a Guarded Heart?

Crazy Love 04:08
I doubt it's worth a song but this is on my mind I've told myself it's over and not worth my time Cuz I tried too hard to make it work And all the while you were focused on her This is crazy, love This crazy love This is crazy, love You don't see eye to eye but you sure want to The constant push and pull will start to wear on you Cuz you tried too hard to make it work And all the while she put herself first This is crazy, love This crazy love This is crazy, love We can try to make Sense of it all The Crazy Love For which we fall We can try to make Sense of it all The Crazy Love For which we fall This is crazy, love This crazy love This is crazy, love This is crazy, love This crazy love This is crazy, love

I don't recall where I left my keys my hat I could swear it was here I write myself notes I find myself losing them Clearly my memory's not clear I tie a string around my finger but I can't remember what for Did I turn off the stove, or leave on the iron Did I even lock the front door? But there's always a thread of melody in my head, oh with all the things I forget I Remember the Music I see it now, the band was playing I held you close in my arms We swayed into the night like we were the only ones We were the brightest of stars I couldn't tell you what you were wearing The day, or the month, or the year And we whispered words sweet and endearing But they are long gone from my ears But there's always a thread of melody in my head, oh with all the things I forget I Remember the Music When I hear that song I start singing along The love that we share it ain't going nowhere, But there's always a thread of melody in my head, oh with all the things I forget I Remember the Music

I won't forget that summer night The trees rustled in the breeze From my bed I heard the call That brought her to her knees The day he died he took her heart And I ran to her side That's when I heard her sing to me Mama's Lullaby Mockingbird, little bell Mockingbird, fare thee well The day I die, please don't cry Mama's Lullaby Her ukulele gathered dust There, hanging on the wall I took it down to strum a chord The tears, the tears began to fall I wore my fingers to the bone Her voice an echo in my mind Damned the day I'd forget Mama's Lullaby Mockingbird, little bell Mockingbird, fare thee well The day I die, please don't cry Mama's Lullaby
9.
I heard your story a hundred times You've written songs and a thousand rhymes I'm not saying I'm not listening I've reached a limit And I know what I'm not willing to put up with Empty Apologies Full of things that you don't mean Empty Apologies They don't fool me Did you think I wouldn't care? That I'm blonde and I got nothing up there? Of all the things I could do I've learned my lesson And won't be tangled up with you I'm not messin' with your Empty Apologies Full of things that you don't mean Empty Apologies They don't fool me You coulda treated me better baby You coulda treated me better baby You coulda loved me better baby Empty Apologies Full of things that you don't mean Empty Apologies They don't fool me Empty Apologies Full of things that you don't mean Empty Apologies They don't fool me They don't fool me. those Empty Apologies Full of things that you don't mean Empty Apologies They don't fool me They don't fool me

about

Artist Statement: We spend a lot of time in search of keys. Maybe it's the key to success... to happiness... or to someone's heart. As I searched for the right key, I found keys to songs, which opened the door to my own heart. I entered into a year of songwriting (the 52 Original Song Project) where I unlocked my senses in order to create. I let music in and out.

This collection of songs was chosen by producer, Geoff Stanfield and me. Each song holds a special place in my heart. This is simply a record of the time. Thank you for supporting my quest to grow, evolve, learn inspire and be inspired.
